Timber Framer

 

Description

Seeking a full-time timber framer to work at our timber millwork fabrication shop located in Ponderay, ID.

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in post & beam construction and heavy timber framing

• Ability to create & interpret blue prints

• Experience creating complex timber joinery such as mortise & tenon, splines, knee brace, timber sill, etc.

• Experience using woodworking tools such as axes, adzes, chisels, draw knives, auger drills, saws, planers, etc.

• Proficiency with CAD programs such as Google Sketchup or Autocad is a plus

Working Conditions
100% of the work will be in a shop environment. Some driving may be necessary. A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation
Competative wage commensurate with experience.
